Video oyunları dünya genelinde kritize edildiği platform Metacritic'te 2019 yılının en iyi oyunları belli oldu. Bu senenin en iyi ortalamaya sahip oyunu 92 puanla Resident Evil 2 oldu. Ardından ise bir başka Japon oyunu 91 ortalama ile Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice geliyor. Genel olarak Japon oyunlarının oluşturduğu listenin ilk 10'unun üçünce Capcom yapımları bulunmakta.
